The main goal of this paper is to present the system identification technique to yield a good transfer function of the actual plant. The steps start with hardware setup, data collection, model estimation, and eventually model validation. Based on input and output data of the system, best fit criterion, and correlation analysis of the residual is utilized to construct the sufficient model to represent the system.
