The formation of Pt NPs with a diameter of 43-03 nm on MWCNT/Ch was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX), and electrochemical methods. The electrocatalytic properties of the Pt-MWCNT/Ch composite modified glassy carbon electrode (Pt/MWCNT/Ch/GCE) for methanol electro-oxidation were investigated by cyclic voltammetry.
